Powder Coater

**Powder Coating/Wet Sprayer Operator**

An opportunity has arisen for joining the Powder Coating Team in our brand new building with brand new machinery, to run your own department, with over 200K new machinery. You will be an integral part of the team in all aspects of the role. We are looking for someone with 5 years experience.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of materials for Powder Coat (Sanding/Cleaning)
- Using Computer systems to understand requirements
- Reading of drawings and route cards
- Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary touch-ups or repairs

**Skills, Experience and Knowledge required**:

- Eagerness to learn/develop in a new skill
- The confidence to use a computer system (CAD/CAM)
- A good eye for detail and ensure that the finished product is of the highest quality
- Basic reading/writing skills due to the various numbering systems used
- Happy to work as part of a team

**Previous experience: Looking for 5 years experience**

Any previous experience with cleaning/preparation of steel/aluminium

Any previous experience with Powder Coating/Wet Spraying

You should be flexible and adaptable to work hours as required by business needs.

**Job Type**: 40 h, full time. Monday-Thursday 07:30 - 16:30 Friday 07:30-13:30 Based in Letchworth.
