Press Setter/Operator required to work for a specialist manufacturing business near Amersham. You will work within a small press shop operating power and hydraulic presses ranging from 30 to 160 tonnes.

On offer is a great opportunity to work for a strongly established business producing specialist products used for the global market.

**Duties**:

- Set up tooling in the power and hydraulic presses to produce formed metal parts.
- To position and align the tools on the press bed, fit clamps, adjust the press shut-height and stroke, and to set coil material feed parameters.
- Monitor the press if in 'continuous' running mode, or to operate the press and produce parts if the job is a single-stroke, 2nd one.
- Produce sample parts, and carry out inspection checks using a Vernier and in-house gauges
- Change over material coils and component collection stillages during production runs as necessary.

Experience with power presses and/or hydraulic presses desirable, but if lacking that then experience of other jobs using setting and measuring skills is required.
