**Due to an exciting period of growth, we will be expanding our team over the next 6 months and will be actively recruiting for new team members to join us on various start dates throughout the remainder of this year.**

**Your challenges**

At our Head Office in Glenrothes, Fife, you will join our local design advisory team. You will become part of our consumer services department and a team of highly innovative and skilled colleagues. This role will report directly to the Advisory Services Manager.
- thereby driving sales for the VELUX Group.

More specifically, you will:

- Listen and gather information from customers to understand their design needs and key drivers for their projects, offering proactive support and advice.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the project, including construction requirements, visual preferences, and functional requirements.
- Recommend the optimal design solution based on your expertise and understanding of the project and its needs.
- Define the solution and collaborate with colleagues who specialise in visual rendering to create a visualisation package.
- Provide relevant information about products and services to streamline the customer's building process.
- Take complete responsibility for the customer's journey and ensure a positive experience.

**Your qualifications**

With your structured approach and attention to details, you never lose sight of a customer project, and meeting deadlines and delivering what has been agreed with the customer is of paramount importance to you.

Furthermore, you:

- Have practical experience in providing technical or design advice in the field of home improvement, such as being a kitchen design advisor, interior design advisor or similar roles.
- Have a sales-oriented mindset and the ability to successfully close sales, ensuring that customers receive the solution that best suits their needs.
- Hold well-developed questioning techniques to ensure in-depth understanding of customer needs.
- Are curious and excited to learn about our product portfolios and offerings.
- Have strong IT skills and experience working with CRM systems.
