**Apprentice Early Years Nursery Practitioner**

We currently have availability for the right applicant to study for their Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification as an **Apprentice Early Years Educator** who has a strong passion and commitment for working with and supporting children aged 2 - 4 years.

As a **Trainee Early Years Educator/Early Years Practitioner/Nursery Practitioner**, you will be expected to:

- Attend and complete Introduction to Child Protection, Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene Level 2 Qualifications as a minimum alongside your Level 3 Training.
- To complete and uphold your DBS on the update service.
- Ensure you hold a commitment to the training and attend all meetings with your Training Tutor and a Member of Management.
- Attend all nursery meetings, training days and open days.
- Have enthusiasm and commitment to learn for the children you will work for.
- Contribute to the nurseries ethos.
- Understand your role in providing educational ideas to promote the children's well-being and learning.
- Demonstrate adaptability, flexibility and sensitivity with regards to the needs of the children staff and parents within the nursery.
- Be involved in planning and arrange activities within the Nursery.
- Assist in the upkeep of cleanliness and safety of the nursery providing a safe environment for the children parents and staff to work within.
- Demonstrate initiative with routine and non-routine tasks as they arise.
- Demonstrate and understand the need for confidentiality and professional conduct.
- When ready take on Key Children and additional roles within the expectation of an Early Years Educator with the support of an Internal Mentor.
- You will be employed for the duration of your apprenticeship with the opportunity to attend an interview for a full time permanent position as an Early Years Educator once you have finished your qualification._

**Job Type**: Monday to Friday - Full Time Employment 5 days per week with a minimum of 30 hours per week on a term time only basis. Hours approximately 8.00am/8.30am-4.15pm/5.15pm (with training time included within these hours).

**Salary**: Competitive Rate of Pay - £5.50 per hour
