Wythenshawe, United Kingdom The Message Trust Full time

**Do you struggle with significant barriers to employment? Would you like to learn vocational skills and improve employability in a supportive Christian environment? **Through The Message Trust's foundation, we have a number of funded apprentice roles available for individuals with significant barriers to employment. This would typically include someone who has recently left prison, rehab or been homeless, although places aren’t restricted to just these categories.

Current roles include:

- Barista (The Mess Café)
- Chef (The Mess Café)
- Shop Assistant (Community Grocery)
- Warehouse Assistant (Community Grocery)
- Driver (Community Grocery)

Alongside the employment opportunities offered, each apprentice will spend 20% of the week earning their NVQ in the relevant industry at an accredited college.

The Message Trust is a Christian charity and as part of the role, we offer Christian support and mentoring through the 2-year programme in the form of daily prayer and worship meetings, one-to-one mentoring and group support sessions.

Since we launched the foundation roles in 2013, we have offered employment to 90 individuals with significant barriers to employment and 100% of those that completed the programme graduated into full time employment.
