We are a leading company in electrical lighting, and we are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Prototype Electric Supervisor to join our team in Great Waltham, Chelmsford. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to play a critical role in the development of our cutting-edge products.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee day-to-day operations of the prototyping team, ensuring projects are completed on time and to a high standard
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team in the development of electrical components and prototypes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any challenges or issues that arise during the prototyping process
- Manage resources effectively, including personnel and equipment
- Ensure a safe and efficient working environment for all team members
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and workflows to optimize efficiency and productivity
- Provide regular progress updates to senior management

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a supervisor or manager, ideally within an electrical or prototyping environment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to commute to Great Waltham, as there is no public transportation available

Desirable:

- A degree or certification in electrical engineering or a related field
- Experience with electric lighting or prototyping

**Salary**: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
