Masterclass Education are working with a excellent SEN school in the Crowborough area who currently require a youth worker to join their team

The school boasts some fab facilities and have a fabulous team who work with students that have special educational needs. These students have moderate learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties or profound multiple learning difficulties. You will be providing one-to-one support to students and assisting them with their learning and personal development. They promote a warm and welcoming atmosphere almost their staff personnel.

**Who you are**
- Calm and caring

- Good at deescalating difficult situations
- A potential background in SEN whether that be personal or volunteering/ in a school setting

You may have experience in a similar role (Care, childcare, support worker) or be a trainee new to the profession. We are seeking Full time, Part time & Adhoc applicants.

**Must have**:

- Ability to work well independently and as a team
- Has a passion to support and empower children and young people
- A DBS on the Updates Service, or be willing to obtain one
- Commitment to safeguarding students and young people
