The Deputy Head of Service Delivery & Development is a position of considerable responsibility with operational accountability for the management, leadership and development of a range of services and programmes delivered across the region.
The Deputy Head of Service Delivery & Development will balance operational management of services (including Family Services in Wales and Western England Prisons and Through the Gate Mentoring amongst others) with having a region wide remit as well as deputisingfor the Head of Service Delivery & Development. These regional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, volunteer strategy and processes, operational performance management, monitoring of safeguarding systems, health & safety and data protection procedures,out of hours management provision & consistent and accurate HR processes.
The Deputy Head of Service Delivery & Development ensures the delivery and continued development of cost-effective, responsive, quality assured services, to meet the needs of people with convictions, prisoners, and their children and families grounded in Pact’scharitable mission, vision and values. The role also involves motivating and inspiring teams of staff and volunteers to deliver top quality services and the relationship skills to negotiate with statutory partners and colleagues at all levels.

**Salary**: £43,000 per annum
**Hours**: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (weekend & evening work may be required)
