**SEN Classroom Teacher - Hayes, London - Immediate Start**

We are looking for a talented Primary Teacher to join our team to support learning in our school (Location: Hayes) in providing the best possible standards of teaching and learning. The position available is right for anyone who believes that all our pupilscan fully achieve and succeed.

The school is a school for pupils with statements of special educational needs, predominantly those with SEBD - Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. We are a well-resourced academy and are undertaking rapid improvements in our learning approachand our learning environment. The next few years will be an exciting time to further develop your career and gain excellent professional development opportunities.

Due to staff shortages the school are looking for a qualified Teacher to support with daily cover. You would be expected to cover throughout the school and sometimes being flexible in last minute to cover lessons.

**Main responsibilities will include**:

- Knowledge of teaching and the ability to design courses.
- Sensitivity and understanding.
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- The ability to work well with others.
- The ability to create the best conditions for learning or teaching new things.
- Knowledge of English language.

**Requirements**:

- Teacher qualified Status (QTS/QTLS either one is preferred)
- Flexible and confident to cover lessons for all age groups
- Previous SEN experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for the wellbeing of children with SEN
- Good understanding of the national curriculum
- To be considered for the role of SEN English Teacher, an enhanced DBS Certificate may need to be carried out as well as satisfactory references being taken.
