Visiting Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

In line with our exciting plans for transformation and growth and the delivery of outstanding care for our children and young people, we are looking to appoint a sessional Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist, to work as a visiting school psychiatrist,across 2 of our Specialist Educational Needs (SEN) Schools. This role would suit someone looking to further develop a portfolio career and use their professional skills working as a clinician in a non-clinical setting in a role that allows for work-life balance.

**Requirements**:
MRCPsych
Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, or equivalent
Full General Medical Council registration
Be on the Specialist Register
Evidence of either dual training or the development of a special interest in learning disability psychiatry (desirable)
Approved Clinician status (Section 12, Mental Health Act)
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in busy environment
Able to evidence good multi-disciplinary team working while working as the only psychiatric practitioner on site
Driving License and/or the ability to travel between sites
