We have an exciting opportunity to join our busy Booking and Scheduling Team at North Manchester General Hospital. This advert is for various vacancies, both full and part-time Band 2 positions, based in the Booking and Scheduling Department within the Elective Access Service.

The successful applicant will need to have a keen eye for detail, work well under stress and be able to adapt to an ever-changing priority workload. The role is fast-paced and excellent organisational skills are essential. You must be confident and work well on your own and also alongside our friendly, hard-working and fun team. You will be supported by a strong management structure, receive yearly appraisals and training opportunities with the encouragement and support for ongoing development.

To support a high-quality booking and administration support service to facilitate booking for all patients who require an outpatient appointment or procedure and to support the Directorate in achieving key access targets. This position involves phone responsibilities, dealing with inbound and outbound calls to agreed professional standards for the entire shift duration or as requested by the business' needs, therefore excellent communication skills and telephone manner are essential. To provide administration and monitoring support for the referral pathways.

To undertake any other duties which is deemed appropriate to the band when requested by Senior Staff.
