Security Officer

We are recruiting for security officers to support the Edinburgh branch, as a security officer you will be required to work at one of our client’s corporate venues on a full time permanent basis.

**Shift Pattern**:
You will be required to work 4 on 4 off shift pattern with the additional cover requirements i.e sickness and holidays.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:
Provide excellent customer service, acting as the first point of contact and delivering a professional impression to our clients, visitors and contractors.

Patrolling our client’s premises acting as a high visibility presence, ensuring the premises is safe and secure.

Responding to alarms, investigating cause and liaising with attending emergency services.

Completing written reports for our clients to ensure incidents, accidents and daily activities are recorded and reported in line with both company and client requirements.

**Requirements**:
You must hold or be in processing for a front line Sia license in either security guarding, door supervision or close protection. A CCTV License would be advantageous, although not essential.

You must be able to complete a 5 year work history as per BS7858 requirements, accounting for any gaps in your employment history.

Driving license with access to transport would be advantageous.

**Salary**: £10.80 per hour

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Penicuik, Midlothian: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- security: 1 year (preferred)
