Our client operates in the specialist business insurance market and have a new opportunity for a 1st line IT Support Engineer.

This is an opportunity for an experienced 1st Line Support Technician to join an organisation on a 12-month fixed contract term to provide IT support to c300 across the UK and global locations.

This is a hybrid role with attendance required in the London office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Thursday and one other) and 2 days working from home.

Work with the existing Desktop and Infrastructure support teams to field requests and provide support remotely and in person.

Record and manage incidents within the service desk system, delivering effective solutions within service levels, and delighting customers.

Working as part of a team to manage and maintain all end-user devices deployed at home or in an office.

Ensure that end-users devices are up to date with security patches and secured using Microsoft InTune and Qualys patch management solutions

Managing workloads, incidents and service requests using a service desk system, analysing, troubleshooting and where necessary escalating

Desktop Hardware including PC, Laptops, Android and IOS mobile devices.

Awareness of cyber security risks and need for pro-active patching and preventive maintenance.

Working knowledge of Microsoft InTune

TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS implementation and troubleshooting
