Counsellor and Psychotherapist

This is a subcontracted position so suitable for self-employed therapists and counsellors who want to increase client hours or work from an office. All resources are provided, though you can also bring your own. Face-face therapy MUST be offered in the therapy room, Skipton, North Yorkshire.
- Have a PGDip
- Have insurance and DBS check
- Attend regular supervision

- Have expereince with neurodviersity
- Have experience with children and young people
- Be a member of or accredited with a recognised professional body.

I am looking to recruit an additional therapist to join my business. Experience supporting neurodiversity is essential and experience using play or other creative therapies is desirable. You may also work with adults. Typical therapy times are 1-7pm/2-8pm.

At present I have a waiting list to fill a days work per week (5-6 clients). I am receiving around 5 new referrals per week for children, young people and families that I am hoping to subcontract. There is opportunity for more days as client-base grows. I am also looking to offer different types of therapies as well as assessment and psychiatry consultations.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding business, with a small team of 4, in a desirable location with all materials, resources, rent and utilities included. You will have access to an online client management system, a fully-furnished room with all utilities included, all advertising and initial assessment is completed for you as well as a text-reminder service for clients.

As a subcontractor you will invoice the business for your time, and clients will be invoiced by the business. You will be paid monthly depending on how many clients you work with. You must be able to see a minimum of 5 clients a day.

New referrals will be offered to you as they come in. Advertising and promotion is included for you, as well as invoicing software.
