**Support Worker

Our client is a young man who lives in his own property with his family, including parents and siblings. He has his own living space with his support team, that is separate to his family. The client goes to college 5 days week, and between these times and during half term he can be found engaging in a variety of activities with his support team and family.

The client has a brain injury, is a wheelchair user, requires 2:1 support for transfers and personal care, as well as medication administration and management. The client has a supportive MDT, including Speech and Language and Physiotherapy.

We are looking to recruit someone who can work flexibly and join the team to support the client to live a life full of fun, adventure and care.

Shifts can vary, depending on college. For example:
**Term Time**:
2.00pm-9.30pm Monday to Friday +sleep shifts.

09.30am-9.30pm Saturday and Sunday +sleep shifts.

**School holidays**:
09.30am-09.30pm Monday to Sunday + sleep shifts.

**A message from the client’s family**:

- “Our son is a happy cheeky young man who loves to be around people, especially friends and family. He loves to be outdoors, swimming, cycling, and trampolining. He likes to be kept busy but also enjoys cuddles on the sofa. His favourite shows include SpongeBob and the Cuphead show but he also loves to watch football and diving. His communication is limited so he can get frustrated and scream, especially at mealtimes. But he is mostly very easy going and has a wicked sense of humour.”_
