**About Us**:

We are looking for a **Finance Manager** to lead the operational side of the Finance team, ensuring the purchase ledger, sales ledger and cashbook are running smoothly and are kept up to date, as well as identifying best practice and system improvements. To be the main point of contact for credit control and ensuring debtor days are kept low. Working alongside the Management Accountant to ensure month end is produced in line with deadlines.

This is a hybrid role, we would like you to come to the Stokenchurch office 2 days a week.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Control of Purchase and Sales Ledger
- Managing month end processes for Purchase and Sales Ledger
- Ownership of bad debt process - ensuring debtors days stay below 30 days
- Ownership of credit control process & bank reconciliation
- Provide divisional heads with debtor reporting
- Working with Finance Director and/or Management Accountant with process improvements
- Assist in the annual audit

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Part Qualified or Qualified by experience
- Proven experience working in a similar role
- Good understanding bookkeeping procedures
- Experience with accounting software (Sage Intacct would be beneficial but not necessary)
- Strong organisational & problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Desire to work as part of a team not an individual
