Bench Joiner/machinist

Our client, a leading bespoke joinery manufacturer is seeking an experienced Bench Joiner/Machinist to join their team in High Wycombe. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a reputable company that prides itself on delivering high-quality bespokejoinery items for a range of commercial and private clients.

The hours are 07.30 am to 16.30 pm, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to produce bespoke joinery items such as reception desks, cabinets, banquette seating, timber screens etc
- Working with hand tools to ensure accurate assembly of bespoke joinery items, including drilling, shaping, cutting and sanding materials
- Operating machinery such as saws, routers and spindle moulders to shape and cut materials as required
- Liaising with other members of the team, including designers, project managers and installers to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines and best practices
- Continuously monitoring and reporting on project progress identifying and resolving any issues or delays as they arise

Essential Skills:

- Proven experience as a Bench Joiner/Machinist in a similar role with a strong background in bespoke joinery assembly, cabinet work, reception desks, timber screens etc
- Comprehensive knowledge of woodworking machinery, hand tools and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with other members of the team and clients
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to produce high-quality work to strict deadlines
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently when required

**Salary**:
£33,000-£40,000 D.O.E (equivalent to £15/£18 per hr)
