**Purpose of the Role ** Collaborating with the Head of Project Delivery and the wider team, these roles will be responsible for managing all assigned project activities, ensuring that customer requirements and expectations are met, whilst adhering to our current standards and strategies,and operating at the required service levels at all times. As our Senior Project Managers, you will be expected to develop and maintain aproject plan, outlining the key tasks, milestone dates, status, and allocation of resources to our stakeholders.

**Required tasks are**
- Plan, manage and ensure all new projects, initiatives and ongoing activities assigned to you are correctly prioritised and actioned accordingly with appropriate resourcing
- Particular emphasis must be placed on ensuring that all initiatives and requests undertaken are relevant to the needs of the business, are managed effectively within budget and timescales, and that a close working relationship is maintained with the customer
- Responsibility for programme and project management, including successful delivery, and accountability for key metrics, such as risk, resources, cost, time, success factors and quality.
- Manage the wider project team and deputise for the Head of Projects when required.
- A good understanding of technical concepts in marrying together business and commercial processes into a software solution
- Support the sales team in visiting customers on a more technical level and ensuring that the correct technical and business solution is presented to them
- Identify any further needs of the client in order to help future proof their software strategy
- Ensure any client knowledge that may benefit other projects as a whole is shared with the wider team
- Responsible and accountable for technical (both hardware and software) deliverables, which means working in the pattern of; Research, Design, Document, Plan, Test, Pilot, Deploy and Improve
- Ensure all projects have a clear specification, success factors and relative priority before work commences informing the Management Team of any identified risks or issues as early as possible
- Ensure that successful levels of testing, piloting, and training are undertaken and report on the success criteria of the pilot stage
- Provide documentation, training, deployment requirement for hand-over to the service delivery team on the acceptance of the pilot project
- Being client-side as required, spending time at their locations as necessary

**Desired requirement**
- Understanding of Project Management methodologies including Prince 2
- Experience in working on niche technical products and Software Project Management experience
- Experience in being client-facing and meeting your customers in their environment
- Experience running and managing a project team
- Proven experience of project delivery across diverse and complex technology areas
- Previous retail experience or working knowledge of EPOS systems
- Previous experience of working in a start-up/evolving technology business
- Ability to work to own initiative and resolve any day-to-day issues or queries without escalation
- Ability to build strong working relationships with clients, colleagues and third parties
- Ability to demonstrate managing multiple client requirements and expectations
- Experience in tracking and reporting on project timescales
