We are looking for a Room Leader who is motivated, creative, caring, nurturing, understanding and above all passionate about working with children. Practitioners will help each individual grow, develop and thrive within a stimulating environment filled with exciting experiences which are carefully prepared each day to suit each individuals needs and drive children's learning and development.

1 Year experience at level 3 with some experience of leading a team is desirable. This post will be working with toddlers.

Pay is negotiable depending on experience.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures at all time
- Build relationships with children and families
- Following and specific care routines for children
- Using the EYFS to plan and evaluate children's learning
- Collect observations using online learning journeys
- Carrying out formative and summative assessments for key children/group
- Maintaining health and safety standards at all times
- Providing a thorough feedback for parents about children's day/learning experiences

**Key skills/ requirements**:

- Level 3 Childcare qualification
- Paediatric First aid (will be provided if necessary)
- Food hygiene - basic awareness (will be provided if necessary)
- DBS (live update) (not essential)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Team player and good use of initiative

**Salary**: From £10.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Level 3 in early years (preferred)
