We are delighted to be supporting the large Non Profit Organisation to recruit a for a Finance Director to lead its finance, performance, and planning functions, and to take responsibility for the process of generating and collecting the Levy-based incomethat funds its operations.
Reporting to the CFO, the new Finance Director will manage a team of 16 people and be accountable for the relationship with the Strategic Partner who is responsible for all the financial and product-related transaction processing on behalf of the organisation.
You will need to demonstrate the ability to lead a diverse and inclusive team, influence internal and external stakeholders, and maintain good working relationships with service providers and advisers. Experience of treasury and investment management, continuousimprovement and change management would be an advantage. Working at pace, with integrity, and leading by example, will be important, as will a customer focus and effective decision-making.
Role Accountabilities:

- Effective coaching, management, and development of the team
- Maintain an effective and inclusive culture built on excellence and customer service
- Maintenance and continual development of the Corporate Performance Hub
- Development, maintenance, and operation of Financial, Investment and Treasury, and Working Capital Strategies
- Development and delivery of financial and business planning, and the associated performance management framework
- Development and provision an of effective Finance business partnering capability and services
- Meeting statutory financial reporting requirements
- Maintenance of robust financial governance systems and internal controls
- Working with the CFO, ensure the organisation complies with and meets its statutory and related obligations,
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
You will be required to manage technically and vocationally qualified staff
Essential:

- CCAB Qualified, with at least 10 years post qualification experience
- Experience of leading an effective finance, performance, and planning team within a complex environment at a senior level
- Experience of leading the management of the financial control environment
- Experience of leading the business planning and performance management processes
- Experience of leading business process re-engineering/service re-design
- Experience of influencing/negotiating to effect positive change
- High integrity and openness combined with commitment to good governance
- Ability to handle high levels of pressure and effect critical decision-making
