The main purpose of the role is to undertake the supervision and efficiency of the reception team, ensuring all functions are carried out in accordance with agreed procedures and protocols.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

- Holding responsibility for the day to day supervision of reception and associated functions across site.
- Supervision of the reception team and reception function, dealing with day to day queries from reception, unexpected staff shortages and resolving day to day queries. Providing support to reception staff.
- To promote a harmonious and professional atmosphere and act as a role model to the reception team - supporting, motivating and promoting staff relations.
- Training of new reception team members in line with practice policies and procedures ensuring ongoing reviews are conducted.
- Planning and implementing the staff rota, arranging staff holiday and sickness cover.
- Previous supervision/management experience is essential
- Experience of working within a dealership reception environment is desirable
- Conflict/negotiation experience
- Excellent communication skills written and oral.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Problem solving and interpersonal skills.
- Time management skills and able to work to a deadline.
