DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Driving Trainer/Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

- Working Monday to Friday, 06:00am - 15:30pm (however flexibility will be required)
- Responsible for managing drivers annual assesments and reassessments, defensive driving strategy (smiths).
- To ensure drivers are trained to DHL's high standards (SSOW) and health & safety on the road and in the yard.
- To deliver DHL's innovative ideas and strategies for driver training.
- Keep up to date on all initiatives and VOSA/DSA changes (compliance).
- Maintain drivers fuel efficient driving strandards (Microlise).
- Managing driver infringements and lead in time violations (Tachomaster)
- Coverage for Contract Manager when he is not available/on holiday.
- Train drivers on the scanners and report back to contract Manager on scanner performance.

Whilst the above will be you main priorities, when possible the team like to get out on the road and help make deliveries.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- You will Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous proffesional driving experience
- Driver Training experience
