Forklift Driver

**Proactive Personnel** is recruiting for a Forklift Reach driver for your client in Castle Donnington.

**You can hold a COUNTERBALANCE CERTIFICATE but after 4 weeks you will be upskilled to a REACH DRIVER.**

The Forklift Reach Driver is responsible for the safe operation of a Reach forklift to move materials and products around a warehouse facility, or another work site. The driver will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, moving goods from one location to another, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate a Reach forklift to move materials and products around a worksite
- Load and unload trucks and shipping containers
- Move goods from one location to another within the warehouse or manufacturing facility
- Maintain inventory accuracy by keeping track of materials and products and reporting discrepancies
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Maintain the forklift and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including packaging, labeling, and shipping products

**Requirements**:

- Valid forklift certification and experience operating a Reach forklift
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain inventory accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and procedures
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in a warehouse environment

**Hours**:

- 4 on 4 off
- 12 hours shifts
- 18:00 - 06:00 - nights
- 06:00 - 18:00 - days

**Pay**:

- £14 ph - nights
- £12.50 - days
- £30 bonus overtime

**Salary**: £12.50-£14.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
