**About the Role**

**Base Location**: Flexible Scotland, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key sites, which includes but is not limited to:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the SSE Renewables Projects Services team to support the development and construction of an investment portfolio of Onshore Capital Projects, to drive significant Business Growth in the UK, Ireland and Internationally.

As Document Controller, you'll be accountable for the effective management, distribution and control of all Project Documentation across the Portfolio, including GB Onshore and Ireland. A key part of this role will involve working closely with Project Managers and the wider Capital Projects team to ensure successful delivery of the project.

Some of your other main responsibilities will include;
- Ensuring all project documents are managed in line with procedures.
- Recording and distributing Contractor & 3rd Party Documentation interfacing with their Document Control Teams.
- QA checking of receipted Documents from Contractors and 3rd Parties prior to distribution to Project Team.
- Supporting the Document Control Lead with management and control of Project Templates.
- Ensuring all users have had training on EDMS, support training workshops where required.

**What do I need?**

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Demonstrable knowledge working on Engineering and Construction Large Capital Projects.
- A solid understanding of Document Control Systems and Processes.
- Experience and understanding of Supplier and Engineering documentation.
- The ability to use and manage Workflow processes.
- Excellent MS Office and SharePoint skills.
