Sales Ledger Clerk
Location - Rochdale
Salary - £25,000- 28,000

Simpson Judge are working with a rapidly expanding business, with offices based in Rochdale. This is a permanent opportunity, that offers study support, is accessible by public transport and is a great opportunity to develop financial experience.

Responsibilities include:

- Monitoring the sales ledger inbox to determine which requests to prioritise
- Drafting sales ledger invoices in accordance with the firm's practices and SRA regulations
- Dealing with any follow up queries from fee earners in relation to their sales ledger requests
- Dealing with general sales ledger enquiries that come into the department
- Preparation of reconciliations, reports and ad hoc information as reasonably requested
- Undertake any further work, tasks or projects requested by the Finance Manager or Assistant Accountant. Complete the same to the required standards and within agreed timescales.

- Be able to maintain a positive and cheerful demeanour to building excellent working relationships with a wide variety of colleagues and partners
- Be very people oriented - want to be helpful and sort things out for people.
- Applicants must have relevant experience of the role and experience of working within a busy office environment.
- Knowledge and experience of the operation of a legal services business is highly desirable as is knowledge of the SRA Accounts Rules.
- Professional qualifications (such as the ILFM diploma) are desirable, but not a requirement.
