Majestic is the UK’s largest specialist wine retailer, operating a network of over 200 stores nationwide. Founded in 1980, the company recently passed back into private ownership following the acquisition of Fortress Investment Group and has undergone an ambitious transformation and turnaround programme. The results of which are now being seen, with record market share growth, a new and improved product range, a new website and six new stores - with a pipeline for future expansion over the next five years. With no minimum purchase, the Majestic range includes over 1,100 different wines, spirits and beers both online and in-store. Majestic’s key strength is over 1,000 WSET-trained colleagues offering knowledgeable, friendly service across all channels.
**The Role**:
As Majestic Wine Supply Chain Allocator you have had previous experience working in a fast-paced administrative role. You have strong attention to detail both written and verbally, whilst being logical, and can maintain large amounts of data, whilst being accurate and efficient with a key eye for detail. You are familiar with using Microsoft Excel and Google Suite for imputing data and setting up new products on our systems.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist the Supply Chain department with day-to-day administrative activities
- Support the team with updating and maintaining documents and reports
- Raising store stock allocations in line with sales and stock parameters
- Action store queries and tickets
**Knowledge & Skills Required**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise well
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and to deliver accurate results
- Good working knowledge of Excel and Google Suite
- A team player who is adaptable and keen to learn
- End to end supply chain principles and processes with an awareness of cost.
- Strong Retail commercial awareness.
- Knowledge of business IT systems (including iSeries, Retail systems & Axis) - Can be Trained.
- Business & Data integrity knowledge.
- Knowledge of Buyers Database
- Be able to work at a fast pace
- Have strong analytical skills/excel knowledge
- Be a problem solver, you'll be able to think quickly under pressure.
- You will have exceptional analytical skills and an aptitude for practical problem-solving.

**Job Specifics**:
- **Contract Type**: 1 Month Fixed-Term Contract
- **Location**: Watford and Hemel Hempstead. Our Head Office is based in Watford, just 20 minutes from London Euston. From Watford Junction, we are a 15-minute walk to our Head Office.
