Unipart Logistics (UL) has secured a contract to run the new, custom-built Jaguar Land Rover Global Parts Logistics Centre at Appleby Magna in Leicestershire. The operation is housed at Jaguar Land Rover's new Mercia Park campus, one of the largest UK warehouse developments for a single customer. We would like you to join us to support our comms and engagement activity.

As a Communications and Engagement Lead, you maintain a regular drumbeat of communications and activities in all areas of the campus, including CR events, newsletters, posters, digital screens, leadership events and more. This is a fast paced, hands-on site role, managing and delivering brilliantly effective communications programmes and employee engagement activities that support the needs of Mercia Park, through its start-up phase and beyond.

**As part of your key responsibilities you'll**:

- Create engaging and effective communication campaigns
- Evaluate and measure communication channels and activities to assess effectiveness, always striving to ensure that communications reach and engage the audiences they are intended for and have impact
- Create and co-ordinate a network of Comms and Engagement champions
- Work closely with HR and Operations teams to support the organisation and delivery of employee engagement activities
- Undertake specific project work aligned to internal communications and engagement activity
- Ensure that the Mercia campus site looks and feels like a Unipart site - establishing and maintaining effective visuals and the correct Unipart branding throughout
- Work with the training team when onboarding new leaders and colleagues so that they are welcomed into the business effectively, and leaders are given a full understanding of their responsibilities with team communications
- Support the development of wider communications regarding Mercia achievements into Unipart Logistics and Group channels where appropriate
- Work with Unipart teams and partners that manage external and social media content, supplying them with engaging visual and written content

**About You**
- Experience in a site communication or similar role
- Be excited by change and the opportunity to make a difference, with a proactive 'can do' attitude
- Effective interpersonal, management and communication skills at all levels
- Ability to write and present clear and concise professional communications
- Creative flair when creating content such as posters, videos, social media posts
- Ability to create online content on Google platforms
- Confident and articulate, with excellent listening skills
- Excellent planning and organisation skills to be able to meet deadlines
- Technically adept and able to use Microsoft Windows, Excel, Power Point, Word etc
