We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Southern Eastern Interiors as a Project Management Apprentice. You will work as part of our project team to provide support and assistance with the co-ordination and implementation of a variety of projects. This role will be involved more within the **commercial construction side**, this may require someone with more technical skills, but the main thing is someone keen and willing to learn.

**About the course**

The course length is 26 months long with the last 3 months being dedicated to end point assessments. Throughout the course you will be completing modules that focus on Project governance, Project stakeholder management, Project communication, Project leadership, consolidated planning, Budgeting and cost control, Business case and benefits management, Project scope, Project scope, Project schedule, Resource management, Project risk and issue management, Contract management and procurement, Project quality and Project context.

A Project Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of projects. Their duties include planning, designing, executing and monitoring every aspect of a specific project. Depending on the requirements of the client and their level of experience or seniority, Project Managers can handle one or multiple projects at a time. Other duties and responsibilities of a Project Manager include:

- Meeting with the management and clients to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and costs
- Developing detailed project plans to guide clients, staff members and project teams and revising based on changing needs and requirements
- Identifying and assigning project tasks based on the skill sets, experience and strengths of staff members
- Monitoring project performance to ensure timely delivery
- Compiling and submitting project status reports to clients, management and other stakeholders
- Working effectively with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementation
- Developing excellent leadership, customer relations and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders

**Desired qualifications**
- GCSE English and maths grade A*-C or 9-4 (Or equivalent) desired but not essential as we will support you to achieve them.

**Future prospects**
- Possible full time permanent position for the right person
- Progression to advanced level of study
- Further development of skills through additional training

**Things to consider**

Training is delivered remotely via teams at the workplace. There is no travelling involved for training.
