Master Scheduler

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join a successful family run business who have been running for over 100 years. As the **Master Scheduler,** you will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products. Your expertise in forecasting, planning, and coordinating will play a crucial role in optimizing the supply chain operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for scheduling purposes.
- Analyze production data and trends to identify areas for improvement and optimize scheduling processes.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet customer requirements.
- Communicate schedule changes and updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to manage inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
- Utilize scheduling systems and software to track and manage production activities.

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Master Scheduler or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Proficient in using scheduling software and systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to forecast, analyze data, and make informed decisions.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

**Salary £38-40k DOE**.
