This is an outstanding opportunity for a busy hands-on Buyer, to take a lead role in the current and future buying process of this fast-growth high-end residential developer, based from exclusive riverside offices, in Staines Upon Thames.
Working directly with the Head of Commercial & QS, you will own hands-on the buying/procurement need across multiple high-end new-build residential projects, whilst also support/help implement the overall buying/purchasing process to support the company’s rapidgrowth, as well as be giving exposure, training and development in additional Commercial, Tendering and QS process.
This role is perfect then for an ambitious construction sector Buyer, who is used to and able to work in a busy, reactive, hands-on environment, who wants to step-up in to a bigger role, as well as the have the opportunity to shape/develop your career intoany direction you want i.e. Senior Buyer, Buying Manager, Head of Buying, or into other Commercial or QS.
**Must have skills and experiences need from the Buyer**:

- Proven buying / procurement experience within the residential construction/building sector
- Able to manage multiple concurrent projects and buying needs
- Strong ability to establish/manage supplier relationships and negotiate deals
- Confident communication skills working with site and supplier staff
- Ensuring materials and works are supplied and run-on time.
- Ability to actively identify and take on tasks/responsibilities
- Willing and eager to learn/develop
- Commercially minded
- Full driving license
