IT Manager

**Reading - IT Manager - Salary £40-60k - Oil & Gas**

My client are leaders in oil & gas and are innovators in the industry. The company are increasingly growing to meet the advancing demands of product development and are looking for an IT Manager.

**Main Duties**:

- Supervising daily operation of the company’s network and server infrastructure
- Ensuring network recovery and backup processes are developed and fit for purpose
- Provide support to users across a diverse range of functions
- Ensure the security of the network, data, and its storage and communication systems
- Ensure that security risks are monitored and best practice is used to mitigate any risk
- Identifying and assessing the need for new and replacement hardware.
- Testing, troubleshooting and developing information systems to operate effectively
- Developing and improving the company’s business systems and bespoke operational software
- Ensure that IT activities are compliant with applicable law, code and regulations
- Develop IT system documentation, including standard procedures, system maps, asset management, security protocols etc

**Key Skills and Experience**:

- Previous experience within an IT Manager type role
- Experience with Windows and Linux IT based systems
- Networking knowledge
- Desirable: ERP system experience (EPICOR preferable)

**The salary for the position is £40-60k depending on experience.
