**Reporting into: Global Head of Talent Acquisition**

Accountabilities:

- Provide front-end support in recruiting, including talent sourcing and phone screening, for our Software Engineering and Technology teams at The Economist Group.
- Collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring managers to gain a deep understanding of role requirements, team functions, and their alignment with The Economist Group's overall organisational objectives.
- Utilise hiring metrics to create and execute more efficient sourcing solutions, enhancing the overall recruitment process.
- Act as a sourcing expert, adept at discovering talent beyond conventional methods like LinkedIn.
- Engage top-tier talent through a personalised approach.

Experience, skills and professional attributes:

- Possess a deep understanding of technology and engineering roles, including familiarity with programming languages, development methodologies, and emerging tech trends.
- Passion for and proven success creating and implementing successful diversity strategies
- Proficient in utilizing advanced sourcing tools and platforms, such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and other relevant industry-specific databases.
- Strong collaboration skills to work closely with recruiters, hiring managers and other stakeholders, providing insights and contributing to the development of effective sourcing strategies
- Actively contribute to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace by incorporating diversity initiatives into sourcing strategies and actively supporting diversity goals
- Understand and leverage key metrics in talent acquisition, including sourcing efficiency, talent mapping, and comprehensive reporting on sourcing strategies, contributing to data-driven decision-making
