With c. 1800 employees, Gamma’s 2021 revenues were £447m with Adjusted EBITDA of £95.4m. The company expects to deliver strong organic growth going forward and is debt free.
**Gamma - UK Business**
Gamma’s UK operations are split into two primary pillars as follows
- **UK Indirect**:
- “The Channel” is Gamma’s primary route to market (60% of Group Revenue in 2021) and it provides market leading products to 1000+ channel partners, with an exceptional service wrap. In 2021 Gamma’s indirect business demonstrated robust growth in margin, units, and market share for key service areas of Cloud PBX, SIP Trunking, and Connectivity. Revenue increased by 9% to £247m in 2021, and gross profit rose to £142m, an increase of 8%.
- **The UK Direct business** supports the requirements of Enterprises, Commercial and Public Sector organisations, looking to contract with network operators. It contributed 24% of Group revenues in 2021. Further details below.

Our Direct business continues to grow, contributing revenues of £105m in 2021 (growth of 7% YonY) and gross profit of £52.6m (growth of 14% YonY).
**Primary responsibilities**
Supporting the UK Finance Director (direct reporting line) and the other UK finance teams with the following key activities.
**New UK **Finance System**
- A key output of this role will be to help drive a finance system overhaul demonstrated by the successful removal of PSF and the implementation (with project support) of a new modular finance system.
- This role will be central to delivering the following
- Selection of a new finance system
- Full review and mapping of existing General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes (there will be some documentation available already but will require upgrading and harmonising into a uniform mapping exercise)
- Working with the heads of each of these teams to evolve/revolutionise processes as required to obtain the optimal benefits from the new IT system
- Helping the UK CFO to design a business case and return on investment for the system rollout and follow through on agreed benefits both during and post rollout.
- Lead the overall project team which will include representatives from the existing General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Procurement Teams (and potentially others)
- Conduct workshops and consultations to help choose a new finance system and implementation partners.
- Work across the different functional areas (including Procurement, Commercial, Business Insights and FP&A) to understand reporting and data requirements from the new system.
- Gain a full understanding of UK financial controls requirements (both current and in a future “UK Sox” environment) from the new finance system.
- Coordinate the preparation and updating of testing scripts for all required financial processes for pre rollout testing procedures and Conference Room Pilots.
- Become the primary point of contact with the new system vendor/IT partner and work with the teams there to deliver the project to agreed timelines and budgets.
- Create and run training programmes (in conjunction with the project team) and run sessions as required across the business.
- Prepare and own Standard Operating Procedure documentation of all agreed end to end processes that have been built around the implementation.
