We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team. Full time, part time and job share opportunities will be considered. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of **£40,478 - £46,549 per annum (pro rata for part time).**

**The Business Analyst Role**

Our Councils are highly ambitious and want to see significant improvement for the wellbeing of our residents and communities.

Evolving our existing performance approach, a new Outcomes Framework provides the golden thread between our strategy and business planning arrangements. It links the Corporate Plan, the six strategic priorities, the service plans and personal plans, as well as ensuring the Corporate Delivery Plan is delivering the right activities. It drives the new performance management approach for our Councils and the direction of travel for embedding a more comprehensive culture of performance challenge and improvement aligned with finance and risk reporting.

**In this influential role, you will**:

- Be key to shaping the councils improvement journey by mapping business requirements and supporting the development of ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ operating models for the councils. Work with our services to identify and prioritise improvement needs, document requirements and map processes to help inform decision-making around possible solutions. Support our services to implement change arising from discovery and design and test phases, help them to develop business cases and ensure benefits are realised and tracked
**About you**

Educated to degree level in a related discipline, such as change management or business analysis (or have gained equivalent knowledge through work experience), with extended post qualification experience in business analysis or change.

You will have strong experience of defining problem statements and developing detailed schedules of work and project documentation for deliverables, considering governance, terms of reference, stakeholder analysis, milestone planning, risk management and post implementation analysis.

You will understand business change methodology and the drivers of successful change management and have in-depth understanding of business analysis tools and techniques including process redesign and agile working.

You will need to have an understanding of local government and the public sector.
