**Collections Advisor - About the role**:
The role sits within our Post-Term Collections department, specifically our Recoveries and Remarketing team and involves engaging with our customers and managing our portfolio of terminated agreements.

**Collections Advisor - Responsibilities**:

- Engaging with customers / external partners on terminated agreements and achieving good outcomes.
- Appropriately and timely outsourcing of agreements to our panel of external partners (debt collection and vehicle repossessions).
- Taking ownership for our voluntary termination process and supporting our customers through this.
- Supporting the Post-Term and Collections department with any task, as / when requested.
- Manage cases from termination to the end of its life cycle with Billing Finance
- Engaging with customers to understand their circumstances and achieve good outcomes and first call resolution.
- Instructing the placement, relationship management and oversight of our external partners (debt collection and repossession agents).
- Co-ordinate Agent Visits.
- Complete our Voluntary Termination process.
- Closely support our Remarketing division, working with our auction houses to maximise the proceeds from returned vehicles.
- Support the wider collections department, handling calls from other areas during busy periods.

- Credit Reference Agencies - to complete a soft credit check to understand your financial history
- CIFAS - to check both National and Internal databases for fraudulent activity. The personal information we have collected from you will be shared with Cifas who will use it to prevent fraud, other unlawful or dishonest conduct, malpractice, and other seriously improper conduct. If any of these are detected you could be refused certain services or employment. Your personal information will also be used to verify your identity. Further details of how your information will be used by us and Cifas, and your data protection rights, can be provided upon request.

To complete these checks you will be asked to provide your address history for the past six years, along with your full name and date of birth.
