MacKenzie King are delighted to be working with a family owned business in Hadleigh, Suffolk to recruit a Head of Finance. Reporting directly into the Managing Director you will work with the leadership team to ensure the company's financial health. Thiswill involve leading the finance team and managing all aspects of financial control and reporting, while reporting the long term profitable growth objectives of the business.

You will work with the department managers to help set budgets and provide ongoing reporting, challenge and feedback to ensure the business has full transparency and control. As part of a growing business you will be expected to be able to initiate and implementnew processes and ways of working to ensure our financial operating effectiveness.

Key responsibilities:

- Contribute to the achievement of the company's objective by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy.
- Oversee and control the company's annual operating budget to ensure that all financial targets are met, and financial and statutory regulations complied with.
- Management of financial systems and resources - to include the assessment, identification and implementation of appropriate improvements.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of insightful management information - to include weekly reports, monthly/quarterly/annual management accounts, budgets and forecasts, relevant indicators of business performance (KPI's)
- Ensure cash is available to meet operational and capital demand and manage a reliable short and long term forecast.
- Support the Managing Director in all financial projects, such as capital investment plans.
- The management, coaching and development of the finance team.
