**A typical day in your role as Painting Inspector will involve**:

- Reviewing an understanding the various client specification’s we work to.
- Performing daily coating inspections and recording results.
- Has knowledge of corrosion, surface preparation, cleanliness, environmental conditions, test instruments, coating mixtures, and safety.
- Can undertake unsupervised non-destructive and destructive inspections of liquid and non-liquid coatings applied to any substrate.
- Has some experience of working on computers for completing inspection documents (Training shall be given for this also, to make sure systems and processes are being followed).
- Control of Paint materials and issuing of paints from stores.
- To participate and be involved with training of apprentices to lend experience and techniques on the blasting and spraying, plus mixing of paints and ratios etc

We are looking for someone who:

- Qualified minimum NACE Level 2.
- Blasting and Spraying Experience.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a coating inspector.

The role is full-time and it is based at Ellesmere Port in Cheshire, however there may be a requirement for day visits to various dependant on scope of works/project requirements.
