**Airband are recruiting a Resource Planner to support the Customer Connections team in scheduling work for our Engineers.**

**Overview**

The Resource Planner will be report to the Scheduling Manager. Working within the Customer Connections Team this role will also be liaising directly with Engineering, Support and Customer Services. The purpose of the role is to ensure all engineers have a full schedule of work each day and are being fully utilised for maximum productivity delivery of an effective schedule which enhances productivity and efficiency.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop processes, tools and KPIs to control and optimise resource scheduling, including order processing and routing the engineers.
- To ensure the customer contact strategy is followed, ensuring a great customer experience.
- In day jeopardy ensuring any issues on the day are managed, where possible ensuring the job goes ahead, including the customer contact.
- To ensure that all jobs are attended and completed within the required response time
- To ensure all follow-up jobs not marked by the engineers as being completed after attendance are reallocated as required
- Work with Sales and Engineers to ensure the customers that are in the journey waiting for action, can be processed and scheduled
- Work with departments to understand demands and resources including working with project planning teams to input to their projects
- Contact engineers to discuss tasks and where necessary re-prioritise workloads Use software to plan schedules and book in tasks
- Ensure workload is balanced between engineers
- Produce reports as needed by the Company
- Design and improve scheduling processes

- Confident to communicate professionally and effectively
- Highly Organised with a keen eye for detail and have the ability to multitask
- Problem Solving Skills
- Able to establish good working relationships
- Must have good interpersonal skills and be reliable
- An ability to work alone and as part of a wider Team
- IT literate
- The ability to meet deadlines, passionate about meeting targets and KPI’s
- Self Driven, decisive & highly motivated
- To work well within a diverse team
- A positive and innovative approach
- Able to be Resilient and work at pace within a fast-moving environment
- Open to new ideas and passionate about continuous improvement within the team and overall business

Pay: £23,800.00-£25,000.00 per year
