Environmental Health Officer (Housing) - Hull City Council (HYBRID WORKING)

We are looking for **Environmental Health Officer (Housing) **will be based at**:HU1**

**We are currently working with Hull City Council to help recruit for an Environmental Health Officer,**

**Your Role**:
**Contractual hours**

37hrs

**Region**

Hull

Your time will be split between undertaking licensing compliance/HHSRS inspections and producing the resultant letters or notices.

You will report to the Principal Environmental Health Officer overseeing the HMO Licensing program.

**Principal Duties & Responsibilities**

To carry out interventions and inspections of premises and the enforcement of legislation relevant to such inspections in relation to housing standards.

To investigate requests for service in respect of housing standards.

To carry out such administrative duties commensurate with the post and to keep and maintain records.

To operate ICT systems associated with this post, including CIVICA APP.

To give professional advice to a range of stakeholders, including Councillors, members of the public, businesses etc on the requirements of statutory provisions and technical advice on practical measures to implement these provisions relevant to the postholder’s duties.

**Salary**: £30.00-£45.00 per hour

- Housing in Multiple Occupation: 2 years (required)
- Housing Health & Safety Rating System: 2 years (required)
