We are excited to be recruiting a welcoming, enthusiastic, dynamic, committed and highly organised School Business Lead for our brand-new school in Worksop, Nottinghamshire This is a key role in our school and the successful applicant will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the school business and administration function. They will lead in ensuring that the school office provides an effective, efficient, and proactive administrative support function for all stakeholders and that the delivery of this is in keeping with our school values.

Whipman Woods Flying High Academy will open its doors to children and the community in September 2024. Whipman Woods will be the third new school that Flying High has opened, following on from the significant success of Hucknall Flying High Academy and Rivendell Flying High Academy. Working alongside the Headteacher, Site Manager and Flying High central team there will be a key focus initially on setting up the office systems, procedures, and policies alongside the procurement of goods and services to ensure that the school is operational and ready to open in September 2024.

**We are looking for someone who**:

- Is an organised and experienced business & administration manager
- Has a clear understanding of the role of a School Business Lead
- Has good financial understanding
- Has a passion for working with children and in a school environment
- Can motivate and inspire a team.
- Has the ability to organise and prioritise tasks and can be proactive and solution-focused.
- Is reflective about your practice and keen to contribute to your learning and development
- Will actively contribute to the wider Flying High Partnership.
- Is outward-facing and committed to establishing a strong relationship with parents and the local community.
- Is willing to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.
