We have an excellent opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team at a leading company in the facilities industry.

**What will you achieve in the next 12 months?**

Pay rate/salary: £10.90 per hour

Contract type: Permanent/contract

Location: FDIS - RM Condor, Arbroath

**As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for the following duties**:

- Maintaining grass, hedges, borders, leaf clearance, litter picking and winter maintenance.
- Use our smart phone based operating system to report work activity completed
- Driving company vehicles and using equipment, ensuring they are looked after and any maintenance issues are reported.
- Responding quickly to requests for additional support
- Working strictly in accordance with Health and Safety instructions

**What we are looking for**

In order to be successful in this role you'll need to be working outdoors, with a willingness to learn more about landscaping and horticultural maintenance. You'll be using a variety of small machinery and ride on equipment, and we'll provide training for you if you haven't done that before. A full driving license is also required for most of our roles. You should have a good understanding of smartphone technology to ensure that work activity is properly recorded.
