We are looking for an experienced Portable Appliance Tester (PAT) to join our team of electrical testing operatives.

**As a Portable Appliance Tester, you will**:

- Carry out visual inspections of appliances.
- Carry out electrical testing to ensure that each item is safe to use.
- Carry out fuse changes, plug replacements and re-terminations where necessary.
- Complete microwave Emission testing
- Complete and submit data as agreed.
- Manage appliance testing by the Code of Practice, 5th edition.
- Must be prepared to travel; working away may be required at times with this role, some out of hours, including nights and the occasional weekend.

**To succeed in this role, you will need**:

- Qualified in City & Guilds 2377
- Basic electrical knowledge is an advantage
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A professional approach
- Current Driving Licence

**Salary**: £25,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- PAT testing: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
- Qualified in City & Guilds 2377 (required)
