Wilson Recruitment are recruiting for an Warehouse Assistant Supervisor. You would be working for a well known logistic and supply chain provider, who is providing their services to an international sports brand. The Warehouse is based in Stanton Harcourtnear Witney, Oxfordshire.
- Monday to Friday
- Working hours 14.00 - 22.00
- Salary £24,204 per annum
- The role is temp to perm so the first 12 weeks you would be paid weekly by the agency hourly rate £12.41per hour.
- Interviews are being schedulled WC 30th January with view to start immediately.

ROLE:
As an Warehouse Assistant Supervisor you will be part of a successful team who are committed to supporting a high-profile customer. This is a critical role within the operation, and directly contributes towards the efficiency and effectiveness of the team andoperation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Carry out duties related to warehouse operations, this includes the use of a WMS through a handheld scanner and workstations.
- Warehouse Assistant Supervisor leads a team of Operatives, coordinating activities to achieve business objectives and goals by creating a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
- Update line management as to progress throughout the day and any matters arising, maintaining workflow
- Monitor team absence and performance, acting where necessary with support from Supervisors.
- Report and record (at the time or following) any action taken in relation to personnel or conduct issues with support from the Supervisors. On occasion carrying out low level administration such as RTW interviews.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:

- Previous experience in warehouse work
- Someone who is a great team player and has some experience leading a team
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Great accuracy and basic computer skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines and targets
