CNC Setter

**PMP Recruitment is recruiting CNC Machine Operators with experience within the automotive/manufacturing sectors to join our client located in the Cwmbran area.**

**Shift Patterns and Hourly rate**:
**Monday till Friday, AM and PM Rotation or Nights Regular**
**6am-2pm £15.28**
**2pm-10pm £15.28**
**10pm-6am £16.55**
**Skills/Experience**:

- **Previous experience of operating CNC machines is essential**:

- **Previous experience in a manufacturing/automotive industry**:

- **Experience in working in a medium/high volume production environment**:

- **Understanding of quality systems and completing quality checks/gauging**:

- **Attention to details is essential**:

- **Able to work with mínimal supervision.**

**Duties**:

- **Loading and unloading machines and movement of parts**:

- **Adjust machine tools, tip changes, tool offsets to ensure the product meets the required specification**:

- **Responsible for monitoring product quality via visual inspection and/or via gauge measurement**:

- **Monitor and record production output vs target and record any downtime and rejects**:

- **Carry out daily machining checks**:

- **Maintaining a safe and clean working environment at all times**:

- **Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve productivity, quality and machine availability**:

- **Download program from the file server**:

- **Ability to use a wide range of IMTE to facilitate inspection of completed components**:

- **Setup and run CNC machining centres**:

- **Prove out new NPI programs**:

- **Use Vernier's and other inspection equipment to meet tolerance requirements stipulated in engineering drawings**
