Engineering Buyer

**Engineering BuyerPosition Overview**
- Seeking opportunities for cost reduction within the procurement of electrical, mechanical materials and outsourced manufacturing services.
- Liaising with the Design Engineering teams and interpreting detailed Bill of Material's.
- Ensuring stock levels are in line with project requirements, and overseeing the materials planning and flow to aid cash flow
- Chasing suppliers and making arrangements for the delivery of higher value items such as control panels.

**Engineering BuyerPosition Requirements**
- 3+ years of experience in a Supply Chain / Procurement position
- Strong background within manufacturing, ideally within the production of special purpose machinery
- Based in a commutable distance of Halesowen
- Previous experience working with MRP / ERP systems
- IT skills such as Microsoft office

**Engineering BuyerPosition Remuneration**
- Salary £28,000 - £35,000 - dependant on experience
- Working hours: Monday to Friday - 08:00 - 16:30.
