Moulder

Bluestones Staffing is working with a leading client in the Antrim area and due to continued growth, they have a requirement for The Hand lay Moulder.

Reporting to: Area Supervisor / Business Unit Manager

Hours of Work:
Days
Monday to Thursday 7:00-15:00
Friday 5:30-12:00

Mids
Monday to Thursday 15:00 - 23:00
Friday 12:00 - 18:30

Outline of job: The Hand Lay Moulder will be responsible for the safe use of Moulds, tools and any post moulding operations needed to prepare the product. This will include:
Safety:

- Ensure correct PPE is always worn.
- Report Hazards, Near Misses and Accidents in the area.
- Report any unsafe practices in the area to Area Supervisor.
- Complete of related machine data records (RTM).
- Ensure full compliance to all safety aspects of the machine (RTM).
- Ensure chemicals are always stored in chemical cabinets provided.
- Report all defected equipment / tools / moulds to Area Supervisor / Area Manager.

Quality:

- Clean and release Mould tools at the start of the shift and as required making it ready for moulding.
- Follow defined Quality checks.
- Follow MPS provided to Mould parts.
- Ensure non-conforming parts are logged on non-conformance sheet.
- Complete necessary paperwork, part labelling and stamping to ensure traceability of the parts.
- Weigh / mix raw materials (resins, catalysts etc.) and record on the production record sheets of amounts used.
- Ensure TPM (total preventative maintenance) record sheets are completed.

Performance:

- Ensure Schedule Board is updated at the end of the shift highlighting shift performance.
- Report faults to maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Ensure production schedules are adhered to.
- Report issues to Area Supervisor if daily target not achieved.
- Ensure orders are completed to dispatch schedules.

Standard:

- Ensure racks are available to store / de-mould parts.
- Ensure good 5s housekeeping in the area.
- Ensure all waste disposed into the bins provided.
- Ensure attendance of daily huddles.
- Ensure cleaning equipment is available.

Requierments:

- 6 months of manufacturing experience

**Salary**: £12.10-£12.32 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
