Wates Group have a new opportunity for a Senior SHE Advisor to join our Residential South team, where the primary focus of this role will be to provide professional SHE support, advice and coaching at regional business level. Engage with Operational, Commercial and supply chain peers to ensure that the business SHE policy is promoted and effectively deployed and provide leadership, support and development to SHE advisors.

Residential is a developer contractor; we invest, develop, build and sell quality affordable housing, either contracting or in a form of partnership with Local Authorities, Registered Providers and public bodies.

As our Senior SHE Advisor, you will:

- Ensure that all projects are visited on a regular basis, personally attending as agreed with SHE Manager, providing supportive advice and coaching.
- Coach, advise and support project leads and Regional leadership on risk identification and mitigation.
- Lead investigations into agreed incidents and coach project teams on investigation techniques.
- Complete regular reviews of project RAMS and project plans ensuring they are fit for purpose and ensure compliance is met, providing timely team-work style advice, coaching and support.
- Promote the use of internal systems in the recording of incidents, ensure the timely close out of all recorded actions.
- Support local project teams and regional leadership in the preparation of bids and pre
- construction information. Actively promoting risk awareness within the design and pre
- construction communities
