We currently have a great opportunity for an experienced **Upholsterer **to join our production team working from our manufacturing site in Warrington which manufactures various high quality commercial soft seating and ancillary products.
**The Role**:
- Upholstering quality finished products on a variety of furniture pieces
- Collaborate with design and production teams to interpret furniture specifications, fabric choices, and customer preferences accurately
- Inspect furniture frames and make necessary repairs or modifications before upholstery to ensure structural integrity and stability.
- Adhere to production schedules, ensuring deadlines are hit in line with the production plan set
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to perform intricate upholstery tasks
- Install webbing and foam if and as required
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Perform additional duties as assigned
**The Person**:
- Excellent knowledge within Upholstery (preferably Furniture Upholstery)
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and machinery, safely and accurately
- Knowledge of wood types and characteristics
- Ability to measure accurately and cut materials to size
- Ability to assemble components according to plan
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills

- Friday : 7:00am - 14:15pm
