Finance Analyst

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are pleased to be recruiting a Finance Analyst for an innovative and progressive Rotherham based business, initially on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract, with the potential to be extended or go permanent.
Working closely with the Financial Controller to transact and manage the business' customer investment spend, including management/reconciliation of the balance sheet accounts where sales rebates are held, and support the Accounts Receivable team in all aspectsof settlement of claims, including disputes.
This is a highly technical role and really requires an individual with excellent analytical skills, strong commercial acumen and the ability to develop relationships at all levels, acting as a pivotal lynch pin in all finical decisions across all business areas.
Key duties and responsibilities of the Finance Analyst will include:

- Production and submission of the day 1 sales flash report to Group at month end
- Own the quarterly sales rebate review process to ensure the accounts reflect a true and fair view of our liabilities to our customers
- Management of the price file maintenance
- Support the Accounts receivable teams
- Present regular leading-edge Sales and Margin Analysis to the Head of Finance
- Support the Finance Director in any required aspect of the monthly IBP and annual budgeting exercises
The successful Finance Analyst will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

- Studying ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Previous experience of rebate management and accounting
- Previous experience of interaction with other functional teams
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel supported with good knowledge of the remaining Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience of working with an ERP system is essential
- Management of month end accounts preparation process
