**Summary**:
**Core Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that deliveries are scheduled from appropriate sources of supply to support customer demand whilst satisfying business requirements (delivery, inventory, cost, quality etc).
- Verify demand driven by MRP and take appropriate actions in response to changes in demand, inventory levels, supply issues etc.
- Effectively manage supplier relationships to optimise performance and maintain professional working relationships.
- Resolve any day to day issues and support wider supply chain performance objectives.
- Requests for quotation, purchase orders and expediting activity to ensure timely delivery of products and services at desired quality levels.
- Maintain integrity of system data at all times.
- Manage selected categories and suppliers.
- Proactively drive continuous improvement at all times.

**Skills, Knowledge and Abilities**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Procurement/Supply Chain role.
- Ideally CIPS qualified or willing to work towards securing the qualification.
- Experience within Aerospace or other High Technology industry would be an asset.
- Focused, committed with ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Capable of driving projects through to completion.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate verbally and in writing at all levels internally and externally.
- Computer literacy including competence in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint Word & SAP.
- Experience managing MRP demand within a manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
- Outstanding negotiating and influencing skills.
- Creative with ability to think outside the box - excellent problem solving skills.
